Beautiful ambience - stones or rocks taken from caves adds to the cosiness and acoustics. Top class service and food is quite exceptional, at least what I ordered (mushroom risotto, mixed grill). Starwood members are entitled for food discount only. Price is reasonable. You can make request(s) from the restaurant staff for a song dedication and the band will play it in the restaurant. Suitable for romantic dinner dates. Do not serve pork.

Favola is the best Italian restaurant in Kota Kinabalu. Located within Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu on the lobby level, this is a fine dining Italian with very authentic Italian cuisine and offers a wide selection of wines.

Awesome restaurant! Great food, service and atmosphere! We showed up not knowing they were doing a mother's day set dinner, and in 5 mins the chef designed a vegetarian set menu just for us and the food was simply awesome! Thank you!

Beautiful ambience. Perfect place for a date night. Food is nice and presentable. Service is excellent. Had a full course meal and enjoyed every dish. would definately go back again.
